Front Desk Supervisor, ARRIVE Wilmington
Originally from Vermont, Megan moved to North Carolina to pursue a degree from UNCW. Swooned by Carolina Beach, summertime strolls along the boardwalk, and hunting for the best milkshake in town, she has now made Wilmington her home. When she isn’t behind the front desk and sassing her fellow coworkers, Megan can be found throwing mugs and plates (into the kiln) for her first love, Cup Half Full Ceramics (@cuphalffullnc).
Chef de Cuisine, ARRIVE Wilmington
Thomas doesn’t have a particularly “romantic” answer to explain why he got into cooking, but it’s abundantly clear he was always destined for a culinary career. Hailing from a Mexican, French, and Texan background, Thomas was exposed to a variety of tastes from a young age. After stints at some of the best kitchens in the southwestern half of the United States, Thomas now runs the gamut in the kitchen, from Sazerac to Sushi. In his spare time, Thomas likes to shop for vintage records, learn new instruments, dance the night away, and read fascinating books like, “How to Boil Water.”
Dining Room Manager, ARRIVE Wilmington
Vince has worked in restaurants since he was 14. He started out bussing tables and progressively has moved through the restaurant ranks. He still claims to be the fastest busboy east of the Mississippi and holds some obscure record in Atlanta for most plates removed from a table in an hour. Punk rock is music to Vince’s ears and over the years he has become an excellent Guitar Hero player. He enjoys singing showtunes on weekends and doing his best Whitney Houston impressions at the Karaoke bar, all while being the best dad he can be to his son Fox.
Accounting Manager, ARRIVE Wilmington
Zak is a lifetime numbers lover and problem solver. His move to #beancounter came after many years in food service, including having a hand in the opening of Wilmington’s first Panera Bread. After his first child came on the scene, motivation ensued and he trekked back to school, where he obtained an accounting degree and started his new path. Now with eight years of accounting experience in tow, Zak spends his weekdays crunching numbers and his weekends trying to keep up with three amazing kids and one incredible wife (while throwing in some woodworking, tinkering, and golf as time allows). To him, age is just a number.
